the ghost adventure (travel channel) Team of young guys hunting ghosts with simple ghost hunting equipmetn will be taking on their, and our for that matter, greatest challenge. This upcoming friday (next friday lol) they will be locked in one of the largest, and most deadly asylums of it's time, as well as one of the most infamous haunts in america, and it will be LIVE.

it will start at 8/ 7c on travel channel, and will last for 7 hours, meaning 3/2c am will end it, if everything goes ok that is.

During that time their website will have half a dozen infared webcams you can watch and even record from live using your computer during the time.

and just look at tihs place, its sooo... silent hillish (i am not looser!)

so update i was going through their pre-set up for the show thats going to be live in 2 hours, and if you go to the ghost adventures website you can view all the live feed cameras as well, well somones paid them to introduce a new thing into the show for a one time event, it looks like a nice way to get one of the ga's hurt, or torture a ghost?

Robert Bess' Parabot Containment Chamber
Bess will debut his Parabot to the world during Ghost Adventures Live. According to the inventor, "Up until now, its existence has been little more than a rumor in the paranormal community."

The science behind the containment chamber is based on the theory that ghosts are able to harness, and move about as, electromagnetic (EM) fields in our dimension. However, because these spirits cycle at such a low rate, humans can't see them.

Bess designed his 8-foot-tall, 4-foot-wide Plexiglass Parabot -- fully equipped with electromagnets, lasers, sensors, internal and external digital thermometers, and magnetic locks -- to detect and capture these low-cycling energy fields.

The chamber is built on top of a robotic 3x3-foot platform with 4 wheels. Powered by two 8-pound lithium quartz batteries, it tops out at 25-30 mph and can pirouette on a dime. The chamber is remotely controlled, but it can be voice-activated if necessary.

If the EM sensors on the chamber detect an energy field, its doors open, and it moves in the direction of what it senses. Once it captures the energy in the chamber, the doors will shut and the massive 8-foot Tesla coil inside the unit produces 1.4 million watts of energy, "feeding" the EM field until it cycles at a far faster or higher rate, rendering the spirit visible.

Bess claims to have already captured all sorts of entities with his Parabot, including the fully formed, clearly visible spirit of a schoolteacher from the 1920s. Other times he's captured only orbs, a face, a head or other partial manifestations.

WARNING: Everything must be protected from the coil. Humans have magnetic fields, and the unit can't tell the difference between a live human and the spirit of a dead human. If someone were to touch the coil when it's on, they'd be in for a nasty shock.

so everything was good, untill we got to robert bess, uknown to him they caught him on camera throwing his EMF detector (which were useless while his machine was on due to the power it was putting out) and the first ones to say anything where the thousands of fans watching, you could live text the crew's outside team going over evps, they reviewed the footage, and brodcasted "so, was it paranormal, a fumple, or an intentional grounding" he asked the viewers

he even got cornered buy zack, one of the trio of the ghost adventures crew, at the end on live television where Bess did allot of side stepping, and wouldn't look zack directlyu in the eyes.

Trutfully the whole event was 10% ghost hunting 10% people hawking their crap, 10% some useless x-files star hosting the show, and 70% commercials, if they could get rid of most of it and keep it 30% ghost hunting i could deal with the overflow of commecials needed to fund the project, i'd like to see antoher one without the idiots hawking their crap at least.....

other people on the show was another guy trying to hawk his idea, it was based off the white noise aspect (hearing the voices through recordings of white noise and then plaid directly thus ganing on the spot evps) his idea was iffy but some of the answers to zacks questions where coherant

and then their were 2 evp specialists which had shown up on GA before to help the crew fine tine evp sessions, and then 3 fans that got lockedi n a dark room

the best parts of the show (other than the fans attacking robert bess without any holding back)

were probably some of the evps

one taken live and then plaid back directly had a man talk over zack

in antoher evp a voice had said 'fuck you' (remember, they are in an very bad insane asylum that experimeneted on peole) and later while zack was saying "who said f you?" and demanding tey show themselves, an evp overoad zack that says "you wanna fight me!" very loudly.

there's another evp missed buy the GAC caught buy a fan, the evp the y caught at the time zack asks "are all these sounds (from the white niose guys machine) from the time this place was working?" the evp they caught was "yes it is"

between those there's a germanic voice that says "hold still" only because if its accent sounds like "holdz shtill"

just an update, within the next hour, 8/7cntrl, they will be having their "ghsot adventures live post show", and will take on the question of robert besses fakeness. directly after taht will be the first real ghost hunters episode of the season where they take on an abandoned reform school known for it's violent and deadly history. Currently Ghost STories is taking on the asylum taht the GAC did on the travel channel, youll catch it now if you turn it on.

update post post mortem

so they waited till today, after viewing the footage, to speak what they thaught about the "Bess incident" also labled as "the throw" buy the GAC's producers,

origianlly robert bess was suppsoe to have his emf detector ripped from his hands (he was aguy trying to hawk his "ghost catching" machine)

while no one was watching him, uknown to him, Nick's camera was directly on him as nick looked around.

any live viewer that saw it knew it was fake, hsi arm bent foward, his wrist twisted, while all those might end with a being pulled away from him his hand ended palm down, had it been pulled away, physically, his hand would of ended palm up, still resesting even after it is pulled away. TO add to it he did a little jump as he threw it to get distance....that's a basket ball move lol.

Nick and Zack called him out very nicely saying "there was nothing paranormal with that"

no idea what the might have said to him off camera, especially since the ass lied straight to zacks face directly after the live event.
