lol i wasn't sure if this should go in comics or anime, its an american anime. And the best one i've ever seen of the sorts. INcludesa great and very deep story line that spans several seasons and never gets boring or old. Better animation than most japanime, excellent voice acting from well known actors (including mako who died in 2006, famous orental actor, plays uncle iroh)

I haven't been this intruged with an anime since i finished the Fulle Metal Alchemest series.

and that you can find it on nickelodian concederinga ll the action and mature storylines, is jaw dropping... usually nickolodeon thesee days concsists of sponge bob and bad teen soap operas and live comedies....

anyway i defineintly reccomend watching it, it is on the Nicktoons channel in blocks (several at a time) in the morning, and after noons. Im currently collecting the episodes to my ipod from itunes.

The basic story, though it ends up being much deeper, is 100 years ago the planet was at peace with all four nations, the fire,earth, wind, and water, all balanced buy the avitar, a fire nation member who controlls all four elments.

But the fire loard becomes greedy and decides he's going to take over the world, and kills the avitar.

for over 100 years the avitar has gone missing, thought the re-incarnation cycle broken, but two of the main characters, from the water tribe, find a young air bender, the last of his kind, ang, who turns out to be the avitar reborn from 100 years ago.

Through the good first quarter of the show they are chaced buy a fire nation prince who's been disgraced and only way back to the throne is to capture the avitar, and his hippy of an unlce. Along the way they meet many allies and teachers, all in the name to teach ang the four elments before a comet passes close to the planet, giving the fire loard uncontrollable and ultimate power.

lmfao, I just caught the mispelling just now... before i opened it... I was gonna rip him one, but since you guys already done it, I shall let it pass....

But like I said earlier this is a prett good show (charecter wise) they had some very good charecters in the show... like Zuko and his uncle (his uncle was fucking pimp)
